We customize it, just for you!
More than just lighting, Illuminations Lighting Design is chock full of electrical engineers and electricians that can manage any electrical task you can describe! Yes, we’ve talked a lot lately about our incomparable skill which keeps us travelling around the country to light the nation’s finest art collections.
You’ll find our work from L.A. to New York, in the finest homes or galleries, and we’re proud of that. Yet, it wouldn’t even be possible if our artisans weren’t also first class electricians and engineers.
We Tackle Any Challenge
Keeping it Up
You don’t just screw in a chandelier to a ceiling and hope for the best! They might be light and plain or they might be loaded with crystal, heavy, and ornate; they might be just above head level, or in a cavernous ceiling two or three stories off the floor; they might even have (or need) a motorized drive (called a “chandelier lift”) to make them easy to access for maintenance. This is not the job for a casual installer.
Keeping in On
Next time a nasty piece of weather comes ashore, will you be de-lighted? More people now have backup power in our area than those that do not. If Hurricanes Ike or Harvey taught us anything it was that our power can be interrupted.
They sent thousands of folks off to the local Big Box Store or hardware dealer so they could lug home 5,500 watt gasoline power generators to store in their garage against future events. It also resulted in a lot of thefts of gas powered generators and fuel…
Homeowners who chose natural gas powered generators have two distinct advantages over their portable cousins. First of all, natural gas generators are bolted to a concrete base which renders them virtually theft proof. Second, you don’t have to store large quantities of fuel on your property. Even during the worst storms, the natural gas supply is seldom interrupted.
And, of course, even the quietest gasoline generator is many times louder than a natural gas powered generator. Being a permanent installation, it also blends nicely into your décor and landscaping.
Adding New Power
Are you building a new home office in a brand new separate structure, or maybe above the garage? Perhaps it’s a guest house or an art studio.
Working from home is the latest trend, but sometimes the family doesn’t appreciate that you really need to work uninterrupted. Being able to close a door says “I’m working…don’t bug me unless the house is on fire.”
But for any new area you need reliable power to make sure everything runs smoothly, and we can provide that for you, too. It might be conditioned power, or fully backed-up power, but you will also need wiring sufficient to sustain your air-conditioning and heating if the area is discrete.
The Takeaway
This is why we say any project, any time, at any degree of difficulty. How many times have we had to come in to resolve a difficulty when an amateur contractor abandoned a job partway through?
There is no reason in the world that you should have to pay twice for the same work. Don’t take a shortcut with someone that sticks a “flat” (single-sheet advertising) in your mailbox offering a discount because they are “in your neighborhood.” These opportunists are the ones most likely to take your money and run, leaving you with a mess and uncompleted work.
