Illuminations installed a Phantom LED Contour Projector at our house in the living room.  This light frames just the picture and makes the original oil painting  “POP” visually in a way we have not seen before.  Installation only took a few hours and the 2 man crew were very neat.  The end result was impressive.

We had light Phantom recessed light strips installed in 18 shelves around our fireplace to illuminate a mineral and fossil collection.  The crew showed up on time, did a fantastic job and fully cleaned the area.  We’re very happy with the workmanship and results – the price was great too.

Your folks are really great.  They are so professional and appear to enjoy what they are doing.  They seem to be very happy.  It’s a pleasure to have them here.

The fix was quite easy.  The feed for the failed landscape light circuit came off an old exterior outlet.  Over 35 years that original plug in the outlet got corroded.  I thought the problem might be in that outlet as the plug didn’t work but all the electrical sources upstream of the outlet did.  Your guy immediately diagnosed the problem and promptly fixed it.

Chris, I just got home and saw what y’all did. It wasn’t what I expected however, I didn’t know that you could do what you did and I couldn’t be happier! You guys are THE BEST in town! Thanks a TON, it really looks good.  I thought you were just going to replace the can light kinda like you did in the big room.  But, I am so happy with what you did. What to go!

We had an improperly installed electric chandelier lift that wouldn’t work with a heavy, custom hand blown glass chandelier hanging from it that wouldn’t turn on. The chandelier lift was installed up in the attic above a 25 foot domed entryway ceiling. One electrician had come out, couldn’t figure out the issue and refused to work on it. However, as soon as Illuminations came out, they quickly identified the problems. We had no idea that the original electrician had installed the lift incorrectly in the attic as our house was being built. Even the inspector didn’t catch the dangerous mistake. Shawn’s crew came out, identified the complex issues and crafted a plan to fix it. Not only did they repair and reinstall the lift with the added, correct pulley system, they handled my treasured chandelier with such care and made sure everything works perfectly. Plus, the crew did their jobs with joy EVEN while having to go up into the attic with outside temps in the upper 90’s! I am so glad they pushed through to find and carry out a great solution. We are very happy with the results! Thank you, Illuminations!

I’ve been meaning to write and tell you how perfect the Christmas tree lights were that you ordered and sent to Wyoming for us…I mean, we’ve never had such nice lights! Our electrician put the lights on the tree the day before we arrived to ensure there weren’t any issues…so we got to walk in and see the fully illuminated tree-it was magical! So, whenever my budget allows, I will have to get the same lights for Houston!

First, they did a terrific job fixing my outdoor lighting and secondly they noticed that I had some rocks outside my gate to help keep the dog in.  When they left, they put back the rocks just like I had them.  That kind of attention to detail is really, really, really nice!  You guys treat your customers well and I appreciate it!

The technician who did our work yesterday was excellent! The way we had planned to light our artwork using eyeball conversions would have given us mediocre results, because of the distance of the lights from the art. Pablo suggested a couple of alternatives and they were spot on. The dedicated, separately controlled art lights are nothing short of spectacular. I only wish we hadn’t waited so long.

That’s the huge difference between your people and other electricians; they don’t just connect wires, they create lighting.

Illuminations Lighting Design ‘greatly enhanced’ our home exterior gardens and landscaping with their very professional accent lighting…..They made it perfect for all to enjoy. Also, as an architect my firm has used their lighting design services on numerous residential projects (both exterior and interior) and consider them to be the best available.

In April I did renovations on a condo before moving into the unit in May. One of the major problems with the condo was the lighting. It was truly awful — glaring halogen track lighting in the kitchen and single overhead light sources in all of the other rooms. The work that Illuminations Lighting Design did for me has completely transformed the space. Tom came over to do the consultation and then designed a new lighting plan. I now have under counter lighting throughout the kitchen, and recessed LED ceiling lights (all on dimmers) in the kitchen, living room, dining room, and both bedrooms. In addition, we have alcove lighting in the bedrooms and living space. The difference is extraordinary — like a different space altogether. My renovation work on this project was extensive — new flooring and redesigned bathrooms. But with all of the work I had done — this was the single most important aspect.

I also want to say that my experience with the Illuminations company was great. They started and finished the project on time, and they were very careful with my new hardwood floor — which I greatly appreciated. I definitely recommend this company. Great job!

I have used Illuminations on several projects in our present and prior home. I have no doubt that the ambiance created at our old home was the reason we were able to command the price we did on its sale. Quite a return on the dollar.

In our new home, we had Illuminations do lights in our trees for aesthetic and security purposes. They also designed the lighting for our kitchen expansion. We could not be happier. The Illuminations team did beautiful work in my home, lighting my art collection to perfection and adding adjustable and beautiful lighting throughout the house. I moved into a builder’s spec house and asked the builder at the time to add specific spot lights–and was told it could not be done without opening up the ceiling and at major expense. The builder added spots to the overhead switches, but you could never select one or the other because they were connected. I declined to open up the ceilings and was afraid of the expense and mess of the project. However, when I inquired with Illuminations about whether they could make that change, they said “no problem!” Moreover, the job was completed quickly and easily–no ceiling repair. Goes to show you that the experts know what they are doing and can get the job done right–I wish I had asked them first! I highly recommend them–particularly if you have art to showcase–they did a beautiful job that has added ambience and atmosphere throughout the house.

We love our new lighting! The kitchen is so nice and bright, and the pendant is much nicer than the previous pan light. I feel like I am looking through a “cleaner and clearer” light in the kitchen. Chis, our new outdoor lighting looks fantastic! I really like that it doesn’t look like bright security lights but gets the job done. The light at the front door might need a second wash on the door itself or be angled upwards a bit – however, I don’t want the light on the stairs to go away as that is for safety and looks pretty, too. We are really pleased with how our outdoor tree lighting turned out. First – when you came to my house, I could tell that you knew your business and how to properly solve my problem. It is unbelievable the difference the new lighting made in our backyard. The lights in the trees create the perfect glow for the patio and the lights on the sculpture/artwork accent them in ways which allow you to see how truly beautiful they are. A couple of years ago you came to our house and provided us with an excellent conceptual lighting design for the Living, Dining, Den and Bedrooms which comprised a nice combination of recessed incandescent (general) and low-voltage halogen (spot/art) lighting. We absolutely love the results of those rooms and are interested in having you re-visit the house to provide similar conceptual design consultation for the Kitchen, Breakfast, Laundry and Pantry rooms which we are currently remodeling.

After having the new Phantom Lighting Contour Projectors installed, our old Wendel Projectors are “pale”, literally, in comparison. We’re interested in upgrading the two old lights in the living room and the one in the master bedroom. Cesar said it could be done without tearing up the newly painted ceiling. Is that true?
