Illuminations Lighting Design wishes to take the opportunity to thank all of our clients for the opportunity to work with you over the past 30 years. Seeing as how 2010 is our 30th anniversary, we have to acknowledge each and every one of you as a major, contributing factor in our ongoing momentum and continued innovation in multiple disciplines.
Many of you, our first clients, were individuals with affinities for fine art that was too fine to light with ordinary fixtures. You were willing to invest in the very best art lighting design and equipment because they knew the value in protecting and showcasing art correctly.
Those of you who have been with us since the beginning knew that a safe, efficient home electrical system was well worth investing in as a safeguard for the quality of life and a surety for the future. You understood the importance of having professionals inspect their service panels and wiring, recommend upgrades and improvements, and buffer their homes against calamities with advanced surge suppressor and emergency power backup systems.
Over time many of you wanted your homes to do more than simply operate lights and appliances. They wanted their homes to take on a mind of their own and handle many of these amenities on an automated level. This interest led to the evolution of our home automation division, which continues to transform homes into extension of the thoughts and intentions of the homeowner.
We realized that if we were going to automate homes to that extent, we might as well make the home the ultimate experience of living itself—something people never really needed to leave. You agreed. By this time in our history, the traffic and growth of the city made getting out at night on the weekends more of a chore than a joy. Out of this was birthed our home theater division, which creates full cinema experience in the comfort of fine homes.
Finally, we came to understand that a house that is that well-lit on the inside should look proud of itself on the outside. It became perfectly clear that we would also have to perfect our expertise in landscape lighting design to make the homes of our clients premier, notable, and truly magnificent in presentation.
None of this could have happened without you who took the time and invested the funds to achieve the maximum aesthetic and energy-efficiency that true lighting design offers the discriminating homeowner whose life is all about lifestyle, and whose house is all about HOME.
With true heartfelt gratitude, we humbly thank all of you who have made us who we are, and you have enlightened our world in return for the light we shared.
In light and goodwill may each of you have a truly Happy Holiday Season, along with assurances that you can continue to count on us this year and for many more years to come.
Sincerely,
Tom Kretzschmar
