Illuminations Lighting Design will be inserting a series of full page, front and back color ads in the Sunday Houston Chronicle. This color brochure helps showcase our unique service offerings to a readership base that resides within the neighborhoods where we have done some of our most recent luxury home lighting projects.
All the pictures you will see in this ad are taken from recent projects done within the Inner Loop area of Houston and the Memorial area of Houston. To honor the privacy of the homeowners, names and addresses have been withheld. However, readers who study the ad will see a number of homes from The Villages, West University, and River Oaks where we have been very busy designing new interior lighting and landscape lighting systems.
A number of these projects also involved upgrading existing custom home lighting systems and tying them into advanced home lighting controls. In the large custom homes where we do the bulk of our work, lighting control stands on a level of equal importance to the quality and placement of the lighting fixtures we install.
The reason for this is academic. Luxury home lighting is an advanced aesthetic that consists of many different layers of light transposed on one another in certain places, and in other places, blended together into complex arrays of luminance.
The ability to manipulate these layers of light is essential to making custom home lighting design work as a viable lifestyle tool. By this we mean that the resident of any home that receives one of these advanced systems should be able to adjust entire networks of lights, along with individual light fixtures, in a way that functions as an extension of personal thought and emotion.

Our back page showcases a home façade from one of our premier clients in the past. The facade of the home is lit by both exterior architectural fixtures and interior light shining out of the home through the windows.
This illuminated façade is further supported with advanced landscape lighting systems that generated various fields of luminance that make the home appear to rise majestically into the skyline on a pillar of light itself.
